SevernNet Business Breakfasts take place on the third Thursday of each month.

Our hosts this month are Shirehampton Golf Club at Park Hill, Shirehampton

Considered by many to be one of the friendliest clubs in the area, Shirehampton Park is situated some 5 miles along the A4 Portway from the centre of Bristol. Jon Palmer, the club professional, will be introducing us to the facilities and the health and wellbeing benefits of golf.

This month we’re also featuring the new skills and training initiative - Skills West:

Barry Tugwood one of a new team of skills advisors will introduce the Skills West programme as a new impartial business skills service, referral and support service operated by Business West and funded by European Social Fund and Skills Funding Agency. It aims to support a more dynamic skills and training system that is responsive to businesses in the West of England. We can show how this service can add value to the SevernNet membership and sector wide in general and additionally begin to highlight some issues and solutions for wider discussion and action
